Fulham Stun Tottenham with Lightning Start to Secure 2-1 Victory

Fulham delivered one of the shocks of the Premier League season on Saturday evening, racing into a two-goal lead inside the opening six minutes to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kenny Tete opened the scoring in the fourth minute, meeting a precise low cross from Antonee Robinson to steer the ball past goalkeeper Fraser Forster. Barely two minutes later, Harry Wilson doubled the advantage with a composed finish after excellent build-up play involving Xavi Simons and Raúl Jiménez.
Tottenham, who have now suffered three defeats in six days across all competitions, struggled to find rhythm in the first half. Mohammed Kudus halved the deficit in the 58th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the box, but despite sustained pressure and a series of set-piece opportunities, the hosts were unable to find an equaliser.
The result marks Tottenham’s tenth Premier League home defeat of the calendar year, equalling unwanted club records from 1994 and 2003. Manager Thomas Frank will face increasing scrutiny as his side remain in the bottom half of the table. For Fulham, the victory lifts them into the top half and continues their impressive away form under Marco Silva. The west London club have now taken ten points from their last five away fixtures.
